Jewellery Care
Ensuring proper care of your jewellery not only enhances its life and luster, but also enables you to enjoy it for years to come. Your jewellery has to be the last thing you wear and the first thing you take off. Each piece is rhodium-coated to ensure a long-lasting shine.
Follow these simple guidelines for a better jewellry experience:
- To ensure its shine remains long-lasting, keep it in the box and the Ziplock bag which we send along with the package.
- Perfumes, soap, strong chemicals, and excessive humidity are harsh not just for your jewellery, but also for your skin! It's best to avoid or at least limit direct contact with them.
- Each jewellery piece is delicate, so it has to be treated with kindness, not with force while opening and wearing it.
- Use warm water with alcohol-free mild soap and pat dry with a soft cloth to clean your jewellery. However, we recommend this as a last resort, as we say prevention is better than cure.
- Gold plating: The gold plating on jewellery will eventually wear down over time. Get it re-plated to restore its appearance. Try never to use perfumes when wearing Kundan jewellery.
Let’s be honest, we all need a bit of touch after a point of time, so we recommend professional cleanings as often as once a year to maintain its luster and shine. For this, you can contact your local jeweller, as some things are best left to professionals.
The above are basic guidelines for your information only.
